File Scrub, cyber security software

The latest versions of File Scrub and File Scrub Trusted Copy incorporate support for MS Office 2007 and several new operating systems.

New Features

  • Adds support for Windows Vista, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 5/CentOS 5, and Solaris 10.

  • Reviews MS Office 2007 files on Windows machines that have Office 2007 installed. Also, with Office 2007 installed, you can still review any document from previous Office versions.

  • Runs on Windows Vista with any File Scrub-supported MS Office suite.

  • Reviews all Office 2007 macro formats, converting them to standard Office 2007 formats by doing a "save as," and produces a cleansed file.

  • Removes routing slips from Word and Excel files.

Improvements

  • Deletes macros from Excel files. Previous versions only deactivated them.
